Designing Tomorrow's Homes with Yesterday's Wisdom
Est. Since We Started Caring
Look, I'll be straight with you - there's tons of architects out there who'll promise you the world. But here's what we actually do: we listen first, design second.
After 15+ years restoring century-old beauties and designing eco-conscious homes across BC, we've learned something crucial. The best buildings aren't about showing off - they're about fitting in with how you actually live while respecting what came before.
Whether you've got a heritage gem that needs some love or you're dreaming up a new build that won't cost the earth (literally), we're here to make it happen without the usual architectural pretension.
Get to Know UsSix things we do really well (and actually enjoy doing)
Your home's gotta work for how you live - not the other way around. We sketch out spaces that make sense for real people doing real things.
Old buildings have stories. We keep those stories alive while making sure they're safe, functional, and ready for another hundred years.
Green building isn't just a trend for us - it's how we've always worked. Lower bills, healthier spaces, happier planet.
Ever walk into a room and just feel... right? That's what we're after. Flow matters, light matters, and so does where you put your coffee mug.
BC building codes can be... let's say "complex." We speak that language fluently so you don't have to lose sleep over permits.
Sometimes blueprints just don't cut it. We create photorealistic renders so you can see exactly what you're getting before the first nail goes in.
We don't complicate things just to sound smart. Here's how we actually work with folks:
Coffee, site visit, phone call - whatever works. Tell us what you want, what's bugging you about your current space, your budget (yes, we need to know that upfront).
Rough sketches first, nothing fancy. Once we're on the same page, we get into the detailed drawings and 3D stuff.
We handle permits, work with contractors, and check in during construction. Think of us as your advocate who actually understands the plans.
There's something special about walking into a 1920s craftsman or a Victorian-era home. The woodwork, the proportions, the way light moves through the rooms - they just knew how to build back then.
We've spent years learning the old techniques, tracking down period-appropriate materials, and figuring out how to update these beauties without destroying what makes them special.
It's detective work meets carpentry meets modern engineering. And honestly? It's the most rewarding stuff we do.
